Privacy & cookie policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website, nvtechmedia.com, is operated by NV Tech Media, based in Cyprus (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@nvtechmedia.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact data you send us. If you email us or message us on Telegram, we receive your name, email address or Telegram handle and the content of your message, and use it to reply and, if we work together, to manage the relationship.
- Analytics data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site and clicks on our contact buttons. Google Consent Mode is configured so that no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are stored until you accept.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting, kept for a short period.
3. Cookies
We only set cookies after you click “Accept” in the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key nv_consent, which is not a cookie and is not sent to any server.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps session state | 2 years |
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner appears again, or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
4. Legal basis
- Analytics cookies: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules).
- Replying to enquiries and managing a business relationship: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
5. Who we share data with
Google Ireland Limited processes analytics data on our behalf under Google's data processing terms; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Telegram messages are handled by Telegram under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. How long we keep data
- Google Analytics user-level data: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Enquiry emails and messages: as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@nvtechmedia.com to exercise any of these. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, dataprotection.gov.cy.
8. Age
Our services are offered to businesses only. This website is not directed at anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
